Timothy C. Wolfgang, MD, FACS Dr. Timothy Wolfgang specializes in Adult Cardiac Disease. Dr. Wolfgang received a Doctorate of Medicine from Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia. He was also the recipient of the I.A. Bigger Surgical Award from the MCV Department of Surgery. Dr. Wolfgang has published over 30 articles on topics ranging from cardiac transplantation to general complications following cardiac surgery. Dr. Wolfgang is the Medical Director of the Cardiac Service Line at Hanover Medical Park and he currently serves as a Board Member for the Virginia Cardiac Surgery Quality Initiative.
